Deconstructed Dolmades

Deconstructed Dolmades

Yields1 Serving
 1 onion, diced
 1 lb ground beef
 1 lb ground lamb (or use just beef)
 1 carton beef broth
 2 cups rice
 12 tbsp Greek Seasoning
 salt and pepper to taste
 1 bag shredded cabbage
 some ground garlic
 Lemons for juice
 1 coconut cream or whipping cream or cream cheese

In a deep sided skillet, put the meat in with the onion and garlic. Brown the meat. Drain off the fat and season with salt, pepper, and greek seasoning.

Add in the cabbage to soften it slightly.

Add in the rice and stir it all together.

Add the broth so that the broth is just enough to cover the meat, rice, and cabbage

Turn the stove to low and cover the skillet. Let the rice cook for 30 or so minutes.

Taste and season if desired.

Add coconut cream or a little whipping cream to make the dish creamy.

Add fresh lemon or lemon oil for flavor and delight.
