Dry Rub for Ribs

Yields1 Serving
 6 tbsp Brown Sugar
 3 tbsp Kosher Salt
 2 tbsp Ground Black Pepper
 1 tbsp Ground Cumin
 1 tbsp Mustard Powder
 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
 1 tbsp Onion Powder
1

Thaw ribs if frozen

Peel membrane from back of ribs

Trim extra fat from ribs

Combine dry rub ingredients

Place plastic wrap on bottom of the pan

Sprinkle 60% of the Dry Rub mixture on the plastic wrap

Flip ribs over so top is now down in the pan

Coat the rest of the ribs on the back with the remaining mixture, don't forget the sides

Put plastic wrap on the top of the ribs and make it air tight

Leave in fridge overnight

Use a fruit wood with ribs to not over power the pork

Smoke ribs at 225 for 7 hours, maybe longer

Ribs are done when you pick them up in the middle and the crust of the ribs break slightly
